About Susannah

I live and practice in the greater Seattle area, on the unceded traditional lands of the Coast Salish people (including the Duwamish).  

I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology through The Seattle School and completed my residency at The Shelterwood Collective in Pioneer Square. Desiring more training in how the body heals in the wake of trauma, I also completed a 60-hour Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate Program through The Embody Lab. I am also in the Beginning level of training to become a Somatic Experiencing practitioner through Somatic Experiencing International.

When I’m not in sessions, I love to get lost in a good fiction book, wander local parks, and tend to my fledgling garden.

I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington (license # MC61424683) and my work is supervised by Smruti Desai (LH60301453), therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
